I want to dive into a moment that taught me about trust and surrender, but first, I want to share why I’m starting this blog—because it’s not just about me, it’s about all of us. Life has thrown a lot at me, and I know I’m not the only one navigating challenges every single day. I’m a single mom, raising an incredible son who keeps me grounded and reminds me of God’s love. I’m also a ranch owner and a mortgage broker, which means my days are packed with responsibilities, deadlines, and the constant balancing act of trying to keep it all together. On top of that, a couple of weeks ago, I was diagnosed with liver failure. Let me tell you, that was a wake-up call I didn’t see coming. It forced me to slow down, reevaluate my priorities, and lean into God like never before. In those moments of fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion, God reminded me that I’m not walking this journey alone—He’s right here with me, carrying me when I don’t have the strength to move forward. This blog is about sharing those moments—the real, unfiltered experiences where I’ve seen God show up in the middle of the mess. It’s about encouraging you to trust Him, even when life feels impossible. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that God doesn’t call the perfect or the polished; He calls the willing. And here I am, showing up, ready to share my story." That brings me to a moment I had recently while riding bikes with my son. It was one of those ordinary days that turned into something extraordinary because of how God spoke to me. We were riding down this quiet backcountry road, just me and him. As he pedaled ahead, I stayed close on his left side, watching over him and reminding him, 'Stay on the right side of the road, baby. Mommy’s here to protect you.' I wanted him to know that no matter what, I was right there beside him. And in that moment, God whispered to me: ‘This is exactly how I protect you. I’m here, watching over you, keeping you safe. But you need to stay in your lane, focus on where you’re going, and trust Me to take care of the rest.’ I slowed down for a moment because that hit me so deeply. Isn’t that just like us? We want to take control, look over our shoulder, or worry about everything ahead. But God’s saying, 'Stay in your lane. I’m here to guide and protect you. "I’m starting this blog because I want to remind people that life is hard, but God is faithful. Whether you’re navigating illness, single parenthood, a demanding career, or just trying to make it through the day, you’re not alone. If God can meet me in the middle of liver failure, the chaos of running a ranch, and the everyday challenges of being a single mom, I promise He can meet you right where you are too. You don’t have to have it all together—trust me, I don’t—but you do have to take that first step of faith. Thank you for being here and for letting me share my heart. My hope is that these stories encourage you to keep going, keep trusting, and keep believing that God has a plan for your life. Let’s walk this journey together.
Hey y’all. Listen, I don’t know how you landed here, but I’m glad you did. I’ve been feeling this pull on my heart to start this blog for years now, and, well… here I am. This isn't gonna be polished or perfect, but if you know me, you know that’s not my style anyway. I’m just here to share the real stuff—the good, the bad, and the downright messy.
